PRODUCTS Philosopher's Catalyst
It is almost unthinkable for an alchemist to operate without their catalysts. So pervasive are they, one almost forgets that most glyphs require some kind of material to initiate an alchemical reaction. Such as the Philosopher's Catalyst; considered one of the key inventions propelling the transition from Alchemy to Alchemical Engineering. This makes it one of the oldest catalysts discovered - predating the invention of gripper arms themselves.
A modern version of the original recipe is replicated here. Of note is that this recipe calls for metallic promotion - exactly what this catalyst was used for.
