The elves ushered Alovus and Mioryu into a cramped office overflowing with stacks of paper and mounds of tinsel.
"Come in! Good job with the broken ornaments, I got your machine in the workshop churning out tinsel non-stop. Well except it keeps jamming up every 30 seconds, but whatever, if it works it works. Now I was checking my list twice,"
From underneath some tinsel Santa pulls out a piece of paper covered in red scribbles.
"...and I discovered a massive number of nice kids on the naughty list. So it's hardly a week until C-day and I'm short a few toys. You know what that means."
"You want us to make toys for them?" Mioryu said.
"Ho ho no, I want you to design one toy, and my elves will pump out a few million copies overnight. I'm thinking one of those alchemy cabinets, making fireworks or something, kids love those. Now I'm sitting on 20 tons of coal I don't want so we'll have the kids pop in some lead and mercury, melt down the lead with the coal, and bam you got a firework. Sounds easy."
Alovus asked if any other reagents were available.
"Well there's a team of reindeer outside processing the tinsel into essence of silver, you can have as much as you need. Anything else just head down to the workshop. Oh one last thing -- we got way too many triplex bonders so try to cram as many as you can into each box. Go nuts. You need them to make fireworks, right?"
