"Why's it called the sand of suspension anyways? I don't see it keeping anyone's pants up! Huh? Ohhhhh it's suspending *life!* I see... WAIT HUH??? Just being able to put *any* lifeform into stasis like that??? Isn't that a little much? This is like, supervillain stuff! We're mass producing cryosleep??? Huh? What do you mean what's- riiight, not invented yet. Forget it, it'll come to you guys eventually, give it a millennia or two." And then there's a line break to separate the lore from the solve notes. So Area is a metric, yeah? As not great as I am at *area* puzzles, I figure, height is *also* a metric, right? This output molecule is really long! Assembling this thing without swinging it around is undoubtedly a step in the right direction! So I set to work! I doubt this is the proper layout for the minimum area, but I think this is probably min area for h = 2, given you need to be able to access every hex of the anime glyph. Therefore I will allow this to be the slowest 29 area solution, which, since I'm not sure it can go much lower, should place me around the middle of the pack this time around! I will not be doing a slappy stick, because TI is a weird metric I still struggle to wrap my brain around. I can see slappy stick type output is encouraged though, since the area@inf measurement system has changed for *this* puzzle specifically. (Sorry for spoilers if area is going first!) Anyways, this was a fun puzzle to do height for, and I'm excited to see how I place! This week's prediction is that there will be fewer TI submitters than area submitters! Yeah, it's a boring, broad prediction, but I have a habit of making wildly nonsensical predictions without realizing. For instance, I was *going* to predict that min area for this puzzle is 24 or lower. Ridiculous, I know. Trying to shake that by playing lame and winning games. Anyways, good luck to those placing above me! Signed, Trixie Kagami: The Cheshire Alchemist, Mass Producing Cryosleep (In The Way A Supervillain Might) Since 2025
