I don't feel really understanding the problem space. I tried swapping bonder and output and got stuck on unwanted water-water bond. Attempts to shave hexes northwest to critelli are also similarly blocked.

Not confident about area so didn't bother to reduce walking (and somehow walking the triangle the other way didn't work).
