On the one hand, computation is testing skills that are outside of the expectations of Opus Magnum, but on the other hand they're often the closest we get to sum monsters in a tourney. This metric was weird and probably should have just been vanilla Sum4 with 24 outputs. If you look at the salt-carrying hexarm, it has capacity to be faster than 4R with no additional cost, but the added instructions aren't worth the decrease in average rate. So I had to intentionally throttle my machine, which feels wrong. Speaking of feeling wrong, that second duplication glyph has bad vibes. I found geometry that only needed one dupe, but it required 23 period, instead of this 22, and the math wasn't worth it. Overall fun puzzle, now let us never speak of it again.
