I know for a fact that better cycles are possible by splitting the reagents between different products, and I probably could have gotten a rate 5 by using both halves of the last icelandic fire salt, but alas I spent most of my time on this trying to make rate 4.5 and failed. I do think this works very well for this rate though; neither latency, cost, or area is particularly high, so perhaps I place well anyway.
