The design process started with the final swing, which is constrained to minimize latency. I then made a list of the 14 stab fire inputs and decided which 6 would be swung in this way, followed by assigning the fates of the other inputs. Three of the first inputs become 6 fire atoms which are added one at a time. The second stab fire input itself costs 90g to manipulate. The calcifier and one of the duplication glyphs are single use. An earlier version built earth caltrops with luster, but added 1 cycle latency, so instead I swing one earth over separately.
