I keep saying I'm done for the week but here I am again at 6 am with 6 solutions, 5 layouts, and 2 cycles lower from where I started.
Ideas it improve but I'm not well endowed enough to implement include:
-the building of another output via the ungrabbed lava-salt and waste with some duplication
-Gee Bill, TWO pipelines?
-and the one that I'm pondering on, throwing a lava-salt straight into the core with some earth to finish those bonds early, probably requires duplicating an outer-bound salt.

I would put these ideas to work, but then again, it is 6 am. Send help.
