After week 2 and my new alchemy engine arrives, I thought that I could say goodbye to away-from-engine planning. It turns out I still need to have some idea on which molecule goes to where, and when I can drag those bonders around the idea somehow doesn't form. On the other hand, I can't entirely trust the planning. I thought I can reuse the minlatency pipeline to just build product 3 and 4 in a different order (salt-centered earth caltrop plus two lava salt sticks) and aligned lava salt that way so it can swing into bonder station for that alternative build order, but it turns out that that pipeline is too stiff to make any other non-mess shape at input speed. Fortunately, the pipeline leaves me just enough time to do the surgery, and in the end this solve is to me easier to build than a set of 6P prebuild buffers. The lava salt direction stayed and I'm sure the pipeline can shed some constraints if it rotates around.
