Zorflax: And now we take another cycles drop to 31 with madmaster's solution. And I guess now I can reveal that 31 cycles is indeed min. From here on out its a secondary battle and madmaster is starting us off with a product of 156,640. Biggie: 31 cycles that's right. So for anyone wondering how that's calculated, N is 14 because you need 14 pairs of reagents, and L is 2 because the last reagent needs 2 bonding steps to make a completed product. So 2N + L + 1 = 31. Even though you only need 1 of the last pair of reagents, that still counts as 14 pairs. Zorflax: ye- Biggie: ah-... Go on. Zorflax: No you go. Biggie: I was just going to say that's a lot of pistons. Zorflax: Oh Yeah Ok so it looks like this section on the right makes most of the products while this section on the left takes some spare molecules and gets them ready for the final input and then [Tabs] bond [Tabs] bond swing and drop. Yup 2 bonding steps for that last input. Oh then then it all resets that's nice. Biggie: So unlike a lot of the submissions we've seen so far the instruction tape for madmaster's solution is 6P, meaning the instructions are hardcoded to produce all six products before the loop restarts. That's so it can get that last product done as soon as possible. I'm expecting from here on out all the submissions will be 6P? Zorflax: Well Biggie we'll just have to wait and see. Oh right, before we move on lets take a look at madmaster's notes. Zorflax, colon, and now we take another cycles drop... oh hahaha ok in his notes here madmaster wrote out dialogue for us to say as we see his solve. Biggie: What?! [chuckles] Zorflax: Ok N = 14 because you need 14 pairs of reagents, L = 2 because the last reagents needs 2 bonding steps... oh biggie you're saying this part. Biggie: Hahaha yeah I did want to give an explanation how you reach min cycles when we got to it. Zorflax: Um wait ok, 31 cycles is min lets see, Biggie says that's a lot of pistons. Jeez how long is this... [Scrolls] Jeez ok now he's describing our dialogue as I start to read the notes, oof that's clever. How meta. Ok it goes on for a bit more here but I'm can't read all of it, I'm going to have to move on. So anyways congratulations madmaster and to everyone from here on out for getting min cycles. We're moving right along to...
