Getting 1p at 18A is really fun but not hard, so the question is how to choose a layout for low period. Minimizing regrabs is essential. This layout only grabs each waste atom twice per period, the minimum possible, and has few regrabs of the working material, so it is hard for me to imagine a layout that goes much lower, but it is also the only layout I tried, so there are probably better.

I can't tell if last week's title pun was too subtle or if people were politely ignoring it in hopes the puns would go away. I assure you the latter strategy will not work.
