A guide to overlapping parts
In order to overlap parts, select one or more parts, grab it, then while holding it, press A/D then drag it below the screen to delete it. Then, SHIFT+CLICK any other piece, then pick it up and drop it. The previously deleted parts will reappear at the post-rotate position, possibly stacked on something else (See video for reference)
