The rules for this Sigmar's Garden variant are the same as the regular game. However, you can only make matches between two "chambers" of the board if there is a conduit connecting both chambers.

FARAH: I do hope you recover quickly.
CHEN: I do as well. Unfortunately, alchemical burns tend to take longer to heal than other kinds of injuries.
CHEN: All of which is besides the point. You are here because of the research opportunity, I presume?
FARAH: That would be correct.
FARAH: I understand if one of the other graduate students has already taken the spot, given that it is-
CHEN: You don't need to worry about that.
CHEN: I just want to ask you a few questions and determine your proficiency with the alchemical engine first.
CHEN: Largely a formality, given that I am of course familiar with your level of competence.
