METRICS
Cycles×Arms > Area > Cost
Latency > Max Distance Between Outputs (maximize this metric) > Cost
("Arms" is defined as the number of arm bases in your solution. This would be the number on your highest numbered arm.)
("Latency" is the amount of cycles it takes to your first output set. That is, one output for every output glyph. Due to limitations of the simulator it is still required that the solutions completes all 6 outputs, just that the metrics for those will not be considered for this metric.)
("Max" means to maximize this number instead of minimizing it. The distance to be measured is the maximum distance between any pair of outputs. This is a taxicab distance, i.e. how many hexagons you have to draw over to connect your two furthest-away outputs with a pencil that does not care what's in the way; there will not be any square roots or Pythagorean Theorems or anything.)
Here is a visual representation of taxicab distance
WHY ARE THE METRICS KINDA STUPID THIS WEEK?
Because there's a DLC dropping on March 17th and many players will be busy playing that instead of this. Your score will be counted for this puzzle, but it is dumb-fun on purpose.
