The solve title is a nod to Radio Receivers, whose CA metric bears great similarity to this. Both puzzles use a reactive tin input and mixed purifijection to iron. But unlike in the Cost metric for this puzzle, where we could straight-up plagiarize from Lustrous Syrup, this metric required significant original work, mostly of the old-fashioned layout hunting variety. So other than noting the puzzle similarity, we didn't borrow much from Radio Receivers records. Instead, we looked for inspiration to the Latch-Hook Fireworks Amamrms solution space. Because the main challenge here, as there, is finding an area-conscious way to rout atoms from debonder to all the myriad places they need to go. This layout was the best we found for that, because every glyph hex is one translation away from the next step on the minimum-latency path. Consider: --The input needs a one-move, double-grab route to debonder --Debonded quicksilver needs a 1-move route to projection --Debonded tin needs a route to both projection and purification --Purified iron needs a route to both projection and multibonder --Projected iron needs a route to an adjacent spot on the multibonder This layout manages all of the above with min glyphs and no gaps. We are proud to have found it. We can easily believe that this solve could use cheaper mechanisms, less machinery area, or both, but feel confident that this glyph layout will be tough to improve upon. ********* Fun fact: you can swap the leftmost quicksilver arm for a piston, for 440g and 43a...and the X metric comes out exactly the same!
