Check out the elbow construction -- each of the three elbows is constructed differently; this was the only way I could find to get the period as low as I could. The requirement to translate the third elbow means only arm 12 can handle the last vitae efficiently, but it's then too late to grab the quicksilver for the next elbow in time. Had to 6P this because the delay in vitae at the beginning is different than once the machine gets running at its steady rate. This produces a 2 cycle pause every tape loop, so 6P saves 4 cycles over 2P. (Chunky Mors requires chunky P, of course)
