This solution is a double bonder + waste one area solution, meaning that it uses two bonders for the outputs so that it can make both at the same time, and wastes one area with a second arm, because otherwise the center piston would either need to cross an extra space to pivot to the bonder or use an extra space using track. 38 area is theory min for double bonder, I think. I would be surprised if anyone bypassed the waste 1. If you put the bonders one space away from the piston that would require a debonder. I have a showcase submission for my failed 37 area, which uses a single bonder. The problem with the single bonder is that you need to make one output, and then the other. The input has 7 metallicity, so you can’t use just one as a catalyst for all 6 products (catalyst as in, you use its metallicity or you use the fact that it can store metallicity) because you can only store 5 excess metallicity or take 5 excess metallicity before you need to use another catalyst. If someone gets 37 area with two bonders I will eat a tissue. If someone gets 36 area I will also eat a tissue regardless of whether I already ate a tissue. If those two both happen I will eat three tissues total. …I’m not capable of eating tissues so let’s hope those don’t happen.
