Logically, only using one bonder forces more area use than just adding a second bonder, so min is the essentials, plus one extra bonder and one extra arm to feed it.

I made a 38a solution with such nice cooperation between the arms, and such interesting input suppression, before I realized my mistake. Then I made this. It's fine too, I guess.
