Fear the wrath of the piston queen, and her mighty feminine piston! This came from the concept of just putting a piston between each glyph/reagent with the products on the ends, and improved very slowly and steadily from there, many, many times (started at like, 150 cycles, for context). i feel bad for anyone who started on this metric very late, it's tons of little steps that take a lot of time altogether I had a note about the rightmost arm looking wimpy and tiny and puny and dumb at 1 length, but then it became a biarm and started looking cool again Making it 6P was the very last ship-of-theseus-esque optimization i made, to relieve arm 5 of it's pivoting duties on later products and save 4 cycles... i think i screwed up the instruction copying somehow, but i made it work in the end
