This pulls inputs as fast as possible. so I don't really know if it can be faster. the intermediary steps can't be simplified, and I don't know of a way to decrease latency, so I think this might be min rate, and maybe min cycles. 

Also, this was the first week I got to work with someone else! and it was a ton of fun! Shoutout to @bugs, this is her first weekly and only her 3rd week since purchasing the game, and already she is helping me make things like this!
