I think to get the fastest solutions, you can't use the annoying wheel for the second input but have to duplicate the first one. I managed to do this really quickly in my solution at cycle 6, but the position of the glyphs is really awkward. I didn't find another way to duplicate this fast, so I had to assemble the product behind the input, which led to this design. There is surely a way to make it at least one cycle faster, but I didn't find a way to calcify the second water input, so this was my limit.

Int he end the design looks really cool, but I am excited to see the top solutions. ^^
