My approach for 6 MechA was to create lead-qs sticks with minimal additional scaffolding. The only problem was I had no idea what the scaffolding should look like.

Below the solution is a graveyard of failed scaffolding shapes. Let this be a lesson in planning ahead instead of using trial and error.

I think the winning solve will find a way to waste chain with piston movement, so you don't get 4 digit area from swinging waste.
