Straightforward, as in all atoms moved alongside the arm all the way from input to output. The most straightforward idea would be to have a radius 2 hexarm holding both salts, and one thing makes that slow is that two atoms are next to the arm and when these two atoms are being triplex bonded there's very few movements to immediately do useful work after it. With most atoms three hexes away, things can be more streamlined.
