5 gold saved is 5 gold gained! I keep finding a way to knock off the odd track piece, so the cost keeps going down. I still think it go a bit lower, but I have a personal philosophy of needing the machine to be able to run perpetually. So I'll take the inevitable lead poisoning from the waste chain over just finding five random hexes to drop the lead atoms on.
