ok so in theory you can make your first output on 11, by using two inputs to make the earliest possible quint and then doing 2 multibonds. in theory you can make a full rate 23, by having no regrab on silver. combining those, you can use the 7th input cardinal to speed up the 6th quint and the 7th input silver to speed up the 5th and 6th output, to turn your 23 into a 21. but making either a first output 11 or a full rate 23 is just too god damn hard. if there was a way to sneak another input into the middle of the machine, there is potential to special case a 24 all the way down to 22 by having the final pair of outputs do a different bonding sequence. I didn't find any layouts for 24 that left space for something like that, and I was not going to the effort to make nonmirrored pipelines. I hope keeping it cheap suffices for an approximation of CX.
