thursday evening i dismissed 23 cycles as 'tremendously silly'. but fortunately i am a sillycat :3

after reaching 24 cycles i went to try to make a proof-of-concept one half of a potential 23 cycle solution, and to my despair i found that it is possible, despite needing to carry the silver with a horrible track river. i stiched it together with half of my 24 cycle solution and started iterating on both halves to find the geometry that would coincide to output on the same spot. i went through ten or so solutions that were just a hex or two away from success before finally landing on this one. 

i would like to give shoutouts to three-arm trackloops, the entirely unused donut hole in the middle, and every arm involved in the beautiful quicksilver cascade on the right side.
