Gonna be honest, completely forgot about week 2 until 6.5 hours before the deadline... So here's my 20 minute speed solve before I went to bed. No optimization, just pure "get this done" energy. I'm gonna laugh if I place in the midfield again.

And as we well know, metals have the largest thermal conductivity of any other elements. By combining the heat capacity of a metal such as silver, with the insulative properties of a ceramic, a material can be created which stores large amounts of energy with minimal dissipation to its surroundings. Generally ceramic and metal structures are incompatible, but by doping clay with beads of silver, a heterogeneous alloy may be synthesized upon firing. Such a material essentially acts as a thermal battery, storing thermal energy for long periods so it can be used at a later time.
