I don't usually like production puzzles, and the waste made me think I was going to like this even less, but I ended up finding it pretty fun to solve for both metrics. I decided pretty early that I'd immediately jump in trying to do minimum glyphs+piston, and see how it'd work out. At first I tried using the same process for each product and handling the tin waste, but I quickly ran out of space to cram waste molecules where they wouldn't interfere with the process. Then, I realized that I could actually reuse the waste from previous products in order to get out higher-metallicity waste atoms to use less space. (I wonder if this method of waste handling could help my instructions solve... nah, probably not. I think that solve already has a better waste handling method) I'm quite proud of this solve, and doing it made me think about what a lower-cost piston-less solve would be like... (it is midnight the night before the deadline as I am writing this. I am not doing a piston-less solve)
