I didn't spent as much time as I normally would have on this, but I still theorized a few other designs and always came up short from this one. Reclaiming the tin seemed nonviable, and alternative methods to deal with the one extra quicksilver (such as pivoting the input to tin rather than iron and allowing one extra projection) always seemed less parsimonious than one arm express-mailing it to Disposal. Slowing down to pseudo-period 6 requires massive cost savings, and speeding up to period-3 is marginal even before the great difficulty of assembly.
