any of my regular readers should already know about my interest in optically-curious materials. their significance stretches beyond my usual field of study - though i could name *at least* 15 kinds of glass used in a standard issue transmutation engine off the top of my head, and something like this *does* have potential. no, it's the behaviours of light that truly perplex me, and everything else is a means to that end.

also, this material is really pretty, and so is the solve. maybe i'll put it in a little production box somewhere in my office, just got to convince the symposium security i'm not smuggling any secrets.

oh, and sorry to all my regular readers for the long hiatus. life's been busy, some research paths hit dead-ends... but i haven't forgotten about this little place of mine. anyways, time to hurry before the refreshments run out.
