took about 90 minutes, and I regretted very quickly how many instructions I was planning to use. maybe would be a far easier speedsolve if I had smart 1/6P or 1/7P if adding a nonatom is important for looping this has 4589 instructions and takes 15000 cycles or so it uses steel wool negative's inversion technique twice to be able to clone input atoms into 4 copies of themselves. Why 4? I wasn't sure how many I would need. I counted two for purification in each direction, 1 for output, and 1 for just in case. But because purification and output never both happen on the same atom, I only ever needed 2. It also stores information in the form of a quicksilver near arm 13, as to whether the atom is gold. Every other atom is tested with both neighbors using purification, and selects the right atom of the ravari wheel appropriately. Gold needs a special check using an AND conditional on the quicksilver, which was the last thing I got working. I started to have better ideas while getting this to the finish line, which had me discouraged with how hard I had made things for myself. but I felt inspired and finished it.
