FARAH: I would expect an alchemical reaction to be much more efficient than using the engine for this particular process at this scale.
CHEN: Yes, well, the Rock Bottom does not have enough space for an entire alchemical lab.
FARAH: Right. I'll get to it, then.

FARAH: I'm going to turn off the engine before too much is produced. Reactive gold is some nasty stuff.
FARAH: But you should be able to see that it works.
CHEN: Excellent. Yes, all of this looks good to me.
CHEN: We can get you signed onto the expedition with these papers.
FARAH: Oh!
FARAH: I would have thought you would want to consider the other applicants first...
CHEN: I would.
CHEN: There are, however, no other applicants, and I do need to get these in before sundown.
CHEN: It turns out that alchemists are not an adventurous bunch.
CHEN: Not to mention that spending three weeks away from the University is not something most are amenable to.
FARAH: A reasonable outlook. I'm almost beginning to have second thoughts myself.
FARAH: But I will accept the opportunity.
CHEN: Thank you.
